Hey folks, if anyone is reading this blog and has any comments or questions - or anything that you want to know about in particular that may give me a subject to blog about then by all means, please ask or comment.
That way I can help you after you have helped me by giving me something to blog about.

I am reading you blog with interest.
I am reading your post.
How about something on PCB Layers (that is for PCB, Settings, Layers)
HI there, sorry for not posting anything for a long time.
I have been extremely busy - and forgot my password to get back in here.
I'll see what I can do.
That's ok. I'll visit your blog about once a week. With regard to your blog on spacing class I think "240" should read "220" (i.e. in the text you have "240" but in the screen shot you have "220". Thanks for your blog.
What do you want to know about layers?
What is PCB, settings, layers used for?
In the “type” field:
What does type mean?
What is the difference between “Electrical” and “Powerplane”
What is the difference between “Non-Electrical”, “Construction” and “documentation”?
In the “Sub Type” field:
What does sub type mean?
What does “Assembly”, “Clearance”, “Paste”….mean?
What does “Embedding” mean?
Routing Bias. What does “obstacle” mean?
What I am asking is if you could:
1) Say a little bit about what the titles mean (Name, Description, Type…)
2) Say a little bit of what the options mean (e.g. what is the difference between “Electrical” and “Powerplane)
Thanks.
Dare I ask if you have read any of the help file?
Much of this is explained within it.
You want to know what "Description" means? - surely you can figure that out.
I need to convert (import)a DXF file to cadstar PCB.
It is a two layer board.
I do not have the circuit diagram.
How to do it please?
I am thinking of buying a PCB package for my company. Would you recommend cadstar?
Without knowing what your companies needs are for PCB design, the qty of boards, the technologies used or even your budget then it would be hard for me to recommend any PCB package.
Have you contacted any vendors for a demo?
What is the DXF file of?
